EmmaChat provides a secure, encrypted messaging platform that allows users to communicate privately. The Service includes:
- End-to-end encrypted messaging
- Group chat functionality
- File sharing capabilities
- Voice and video calling (premium features)
- User profile management
3. Registration and Account
3.1 Account Creation
To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
- Maintain the security of your password
- Accept all responsibility for activity under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

You must be at least 13 years old to use EmmaChat. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian.

- Violation of applicable laws
- Fraudulent or illegal activity
- Request by law enforcement
You may also terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature in the app.
7. Disclaimers and Limitations
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose

- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
- Security of data transmission
IN NO EVENT SHALL EMMACHAT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless EmmaChat and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of San Francisco County, California.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
